THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT ABSTRACT HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL AUGUST 20th 2010
In case that Communications are selected for oral presentation, poster or video it is mandatory for the first author to be registered.
GENERAL RULES FOR CREATION AND SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS POSTERS AND VIDEOS
In the 16th SIS World Congress and 29 Congreso Nacional SESPM there is only option to present oral presentations, posters and videos.
1. Languages may be English or Spanish.
2. Abstracts shall be made of: short introduction, Objectives, Material and Methods, Results and Conclusions.
3. The title of the abstract should be written in capital letters. The name of the author(s) in small letters and the author presenting it, will be the first one. The initial of the name will precede the family name. No more than 8 people can be listed.
4. Graphics and tables, if any, should be uploaded as files. (3 images maximum)
5. The author will choose the Specialty among: Epidemiology, Benign Disease, Early Diagnose, Fertility, Nutrition, Histopathology, Heredity, Basic Research, Surgery, Radiation Therapy, Medical Oncology, Radiology, Breast Units, Education, Nursing, Psycho-oncology and Miscellanea.
6. Abstracts submitted will be evaluated electronically, by the Scientific Committees, depending on the Specialty. The first author will receive the decision adopted about their presentation.
7. It is mandatory that the Abstract presenter is registered to attend the Congress for the final acceptation of abstracts.
8. The accepted Oral presentations will be presented in the Free Paper Sessions. The assigned time will be 8 minutes and 2 more for discussion.
9. In the Poster presentation, a number will be assigned and you will be informed about the time to be shown.
10. Presentations and Posters accepted but not being possible to be presented in the Congress will be published on the Congress web site and its official publication.
11. The deadline to submit presentations will be open until July 25th 2010.

SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS TO PREPARE ABSTRACTS FOR ORAL COMMUNICATIONS, POSTERS AND VIDEOS
- Title: written in capital letters and no more than 400 characters.
- Authors: all authors will be inserted, starting with the first author, that will be the speaker, with the initial of the name and the family name separating them by semicolon and adding their own Work Centers differentiating them by (*) (**) etc., to indicate to which Work Center they belong, that will be added in the end and followed by these corresponding symbols. Example: A.García; M.López (*); C.L. Rodríguez (**). (*) Clínica Puerta de Hierro; (**) Hospital Nuestra Señora del Rocío.
- Speaker Work Center or main Author: they will be chosen from the ones that are shown. This detail is compulsory. For this, the Country is selected, followed by the Region and in the end the Work Center. The OK button is placed in the upper part of the data sheet. If the center is not in the list, the Other Work Center box will be used to include it, with all the details. (Name, Address, Telephone number, Fax, e-mail, etc...)
- E-mail of the speaker: one e-mail address is only possible for each speaker, that is, all presentations presented by the same speaker should be used with the same e-mail address. The Secretary, Scientific Committee and the System will use this e-mail to communicate with the speaker. For a second presentation, the User and Password given by the system to this e-mail, will be used.
- Abstract: it shall be made of: Objectives, Material and Methods. Results and Conclusions. 350 words maximum. Tables: tables are admitted in the abstracts, as long as they are inserted with (JPG) image format.
- Submitting more than one presentation by the same speaker and correction of submitted presentations: when a presentation is submitted, the speaker will receive in his/her e-mail a User and Password. With these details you will be able to access in the Form and submit more than one presentation. Presentations submitted by the same speaker will be shown. You will be able to correct all these presentations on-line until August 20th 2010 or until the system indicates that no more presentations are admitted because the deadline is closed. To modify your registration details: enter your User and Password given in your e-mail, so you will be able to modify your registration details, even you User and Password.
- Posters will be presented printed in paper and will be shown in exhibition panels according to the Program and timetable established in the Congress. The size of the Poster will be 90 cm width and 150 cm height. Pictures, tables and graphics can be included in the Poster, keeping the mentioned size. Likewise, Poster shall maintain the same structure of Oral Presentations: Abstract, Objectives, Material and Methods, Results and Conclusions.
